Austin Tillotson's halfcourt shot as time ran out gave Colgate a 93-90 overtime victory over Loyola-Maryland on Sunday.

After Andre Walker made a 3-pointer for Loyola with four seconds left, Tillotson heaved the game-winner from the centre court.

Tillotson made 1 of 2 free throws with 10 seconds left before Walker's game-tying basket.

Sean O'Brien's basket tied it for Colgate (13-14, 9-7 Patriot) at 79-all with 31 seconds left in regulation before Eric Laster missed a short jumper to send it into overtime.

Tillotson finished with 20 points and eight assists. O'Brien added a career-high 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting with Alex Ramon scoring a career-high 18 points and Tom Rivard 17.

Laster of was 10 of 15 from the field and 5 of 6 on 3-pointers for a career-high 26 points. Walker added 19 points and Franz Rassman 15 for the Greyhounds (8-19, 7-9).

Loyola shot 59 per cent, Colgate 57 per cent.
