The Toronto Blue Jays will kick off their 2016 regular season on April 4 with the opener of a four-game series at Tampa Bay.
The home opener is set for April 8 at Rogers Centre against Boston. The three-game series against the Red Sox will be followed by another three-game set against the visiting New York Yankees from April 12-14.
In interleague play, Toronto will host the Los Angeles Dodgers (May 6-8), Philadelphia Phillies (June 13-14), Arizona Diamondbacks (June 21-22) and San Diego Padres (July 25-27).
Interleague road games will be played against the San Francisco Giants (May 9-11), the Phillies (June 15-16), Colorado Rockies (August 27-29) and the Diamondbacks (July 19-20), the Blue Jays said Tuesday in a release.
Toronto will close out its 40th season with a matinee at Boston on Oct. 2.
