Chris Flemmings scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and UNC Wilmington defeated Delaware 79-70 on Thursday night.

C.J. Bryce added 16 points and Denzel Ingram 13 for the Seahawks (13-5, 5-2 Colonial Athletic), who have won four straight.

Delaware (5-13, 0-7) has lost 10 straight, including an 18-point home loss to the Seahawks on Jan. 9. But the Blue Hens were within six, 72-66, with 1:47 remaining after a basket by Devonne Pinkard.

Flemmings answered with a 3-pointer before Marvin King-Davis made two free throws for the Blue Hens. But Bryce sank a free throw and Ingram made two more with 27 seconds left while Delaware missed a pair of 3-pointers, and the Seahawks led by 10.

Kory Holden scored 22 points for Delaware. Maurice Jeffers added 12 and King-Davis and Anthony Mosley had 11 apiece.

UNCW was up 41-31 at halftime and led the rest of the way.
