Yuki Muto and Tsukasa Umesaki scored late in the first half Saturday as Urawa Reds beat Yokohama F Marinos 2-1 to reclaim the lead of the J-League.

Sho Ito put Yokohama in front on 34 minutes but Muto equalized in the 41st and Umesaki gave the hosts the lead for good with a header just before the break.

After six games, Urawa has 14 points, one clear of treble winners Gamba Osaka, who won 2-0 away to Shonan Bellmare courtesy of goals from Takashi Usami and Yasuhito Endo.

In other matches, Kosei Shibasaki and Takuma Asano scored to lead Sanfrecce Hiroshima to a 2-1 win over FC Tokyo. Yoshinori Muto got his fifth goal of the season for Tokyo, which lost for the first time this season.

Yohei Toyoda scored twice as Sagan Tosu beat Ventforet Kofu 3-0 while Yoshito Okubo got the winner as Kawasaki Frontale defeated Vegalta Sendai 3-2. Montedio Yamagata and Matsumoto Yamaga finished 0-0.

Shunki Takahashi's equalizer earned Vissel Kobe a 2-2 draw with Albirex Niigata, while Kensuke Nagai, Kengo Kawamata and Riki Matsuda were on target as Nagoya Grampus beat Shimizu S-Pulse 3-1.
