Tim Marshall scored 21 points to lead VMI to a 107-72 win over Central Penn College on Wednesday night.

Marshall was 5 of 8 from 3-point range. Julian Eleby added 20 points, seven boards, and six assists for VMI (3-3). QJ Peterson finished with 18 points and eight rebounds for the Keydets, who improved to 3-0 this season at home.

VMI shot 53 per cent from the field, hit 14 3-pointers, and finished 23 of 24 at the free-throw line.

VMI trailed for just 20 seconds in the game, after Tyree Tucker hit the first jumper which gave Central Penn a 2-0 lead. From there the Keydets took control, ripping off 20 straight points for a 20-2 lead which they extended to 56-27 by halftime.

A Jordan Weethee trey with 12:06 left gave VMI a 42 point lead (84-42).

Tucker had 27 points for the Knights.
