Wales winger George North will return after five months out following a series of head injuries when he starts a Rugby World Cup warm-up match against Ireland on Saturday.

North was advised by doctors to have a period of rest after suffering four blows to the head in four months. He was concussed against New Zealand in November, had two knocks to the head against England in a Six Nations match in February and was knocked unconscious in the act of scoring a try for English club Northampton in March.

The powerful winger was cleared to resume full training in June, and will make his 50th international appearance as part of a strong-looking Wales team in Dublin.

It's the last game for both teams before the Aug. 31 deadline for squads to be announced for the World Cup.
