Josh Adams scored 28 points — his 16th game this season with 22 or better — and helped Wyoming hold off Colorado State 83-76 Saturday night, beating the Rams for the fourth-straight time.

Adams made 5 of 6 free throws down the stretch to keep Colorado State at bay, and Jason McManamen added 19 points with a career-best five 3-pointers for the Cowboys (11-12, 4-6 Mountain West).

McManamen hit a 3-pointer as Wyoming used a 9-0 run to break away from a halftime tie, then dropped back-to-back treys to push the lead to 51-38.

Colorado State (12-9, 4-4) fought to within 61-57 on an Emmanuel Omogbo 3-pointer with 6:31 remaining. Antwan Scott led the Rams with 19 points.

Fans observed a moment of silence to mark the death early Saturday of 95-year-old Kenny Sailors, who led Wyoming to the 1943 NCAA Championship and who's credited with developing the modern jump shot.
