A tropical depression off Mexico's Pacific coast is expected to weaken.
The depression's maximum sustained winds Monday are near 35 mph (55 kph). The U.S. National Hurricane Center says gradual weakening is expected and the depression is forecast to become a remnant low later in the day.
The depression is centred about 705 miles (1,135 kilometres) west of the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula and is moving northwest at 16 mph (26 kph).
The depression doesn't pose an immediate threat to any land.
