Market Blog, a daily compendium of market insight and analysis, is one of the most popular features of this site. But I'd like to point out that its popularity is also rising on the blog aggregation site SeekingAlpha.com.
This is a U.S.-based site that posts selected financial and investing blogs from around the Internet. The site has a ranking system that allows readers to "follow" particular blogs or writers. With about about 200 blog entries posted each day on the site from amongst more than 3,000 bloggers, the "follower" system helps people keep track of the blogs they value the most.
Market Blog's popularity on the site has been rising rapidly in the last couple of months. It is now is ranked #12 overall on the Seeking Alpha leaderboard, with almost 19,000 followers.
Much of the credit for the success of the blog goes to David Berman, the main voice behind the blog. But much credit also goes to David Parkinson, Simon Avery and Al Robinson, who fill in in David's absence. They kept Market Blog's momentum going from November to January while David was on a short leave.
