Eric Lascelles, chief economist of RBC Global Asset Management

For this week's live chat at Inside the Market, we were joined by Eric Lascelles, chief economist for RBC Global Asset Management, for a broad-ranging discussion on markets and the economy. He provided his latest outlook on North American stock markets, currencies, housing and macroeconomic developments.

Mr. Lascelles advises RBC portfolio managers on key themes and risks and is a member of the RBC Investment Strategy Committee, which is responsible for the firm's global asset mix recommendations. He holds a graduate degree in Economics from Queen's University as well as a Bachelor of Economics from Princeton University with minors in Finance and Computer Science.
