Here's a very fine vintage for a popular red Bordeaux from large producer Dourthe. Ripe and poised, it shows cassis and plum flavours underpinned by mineral, tobacco and toasty oak against sticky tannins. A classic match for roast beef or steak, it would cellar well for up to six years. ($24.99 in B.C., $23.08 in Manitoba, $22.40 in Quebec)
