The model Yield Hog Dividend Growth Portfolio continued to gain value in July, posting an advance of 1.3 per cent to finish the month at $192,896.14

Since the portfolio was launched with $100,000 of virtual cash on Oct. 1, 2017, it has posted a total return, including dividends, of about 92.9 per cent. That works out to an annualized gain of about 8.75 per cent.

One company boosted its dividend during the month. On July 30, Capital Power Corp. (CPX) hiked its dividend by 6 per cent.
