Dow futures (YM) have outperformed the S&P 500 (ES) and Nasdaq 100 (NQ) in recent weeks as capital rotates out of stretched semiconductor and AI names and into blue chip industrials, financials, and healthcare stocks. The index has broken and accepted above the 50,000 level since May, made repeated new all time highs, and is currently digesting a sharp round trip driven by an escalation in U.S. Iran tensions that briefly knocked the Dow down as much as 810 points intraday. The 52,000 level, Daily level 1, is the key area to watch in the coming weeks. Buyers defending it points toward a bullish continuation and a possible test of the 54,000 millennium level, while a break and acceptance below it opens the door to a move toward 51,000 and eventually 50,000. Oil prices, the Federal Reserve's hawkish leaning tone, and next week's CPI report are likely to determine which path plays out.
