In more than two decades tracking insider filings at INK, big Canadian banks are usually found in the middle of the pack in terms of insider activity. When they show up near the top of our screens, it usually means something. This spring, as investors confront the Trump tariff shock, we are encouraged to see insiders buying again at some of the big banks. For example, Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD-T) director and Cargojet founder Ajay Virmani spent just over $2-million on April 9, buying 24,636 shares at $81.22.
