Brookfield Renewable Partners (BEP.UN-T) is focused on hydro, wind and solar power generation as well as decarbonization solutions. The name has been struggling since the election of Donald Trump, who has championed traditional energy sources. However, on Feb. 3, director Louis Maroun took advantage of the pullback to buy 12,100 Limited Partnership Units in the public market at an average price of $31.24. Investors can also access economic exposure to Brookfield Renewable Partners via Brookfield Renewable Corp. which also trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
