He is a 35-year oil patch veteran who led NuVista Energy’s transformation into a pure-play Montney producer. He was also one of multiple insiders who bought ARC shares this week as the stock pulled back after earnings news. On Feb. 9 he acquired 43,631 shares at $22.85. In total, eight insiders, including Mr. Wright, bought 84,991 shares at an average price of $23.08.
