Open Text Corporation OTEX-T was an original signatory to Canada’s Voluntary Code of Conduct on the Responsible Development and Management of Advanced Generative AI Systems. It has also joined the Hiroshima AI Process Reporting Framework, a monitoring mechanism for the G7’s code of conduct for AI development. Despite confronting AI disruption, the stock has struggled. However, CEO Ayman Antoun appears optimistic, buying 12,000 common shares in the public market on Aug. 11 at $33.94. On Aug. 7, seven insiders sold a total of 14,187 shares to cover incentive plan related taxes.
