Conflicting headlines about Iran war peace negotiations have sent oil and gas stocks on a volatile ride this month. For example, on April 8th Tamarack Valley Energy closed down 7.1 per cent. As the stock fell, vice-president of production and operations Scott Shimek bought 43,000 shares in the public market at $10.50. A week later, the stock was trading higher and two senior officers bought the rebound with Ben Stoodley acquiring 10,000 shares at $11.09 while Rocky Baker bought 4,455 shares at an average price of $11.23.
