The S&P/TSX Composite eased higher by 0.3 per cent for the trading week ending on Friday’s close and is now 12.9 per cent higher for 2026. The benchmark’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) of 55 puts it in neutral technical territory although closer to the overbought sell signal of 70 than the oversold, technically attractive RSI buy signal of 30.

There is only one oversold stock by RSI this week – Tilray Brands Inc. – with WSP Global Inc. right on the cusp of oversold territory.

There are 11 stocks with RSIs above 70, implying short-term technical vulnerability. The five most overbought stocks are Mullen Group Ltd., Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, Canadian Utilities Ltd., Manulife Financial Corp., and Winpak Ltd.

There are 17 TSX constituents showing strong price momentum by hitting new 52-week highs and they are ranked by market capitalization in a table below. The biggest companies making new highs are Enbridge Inc., Manulife Financial Corp., Sun Life Financial, Power Corp of Canada and Fortis Inc.

Cogeco Communications Inc. and Bausch Health Companies Inc. are making new lows.
