Swvl ( (SWVL) ) has shared an update.
Swvl reported a sharp financial turnaround for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, announcing on April 20, 2026 that revenue rose 41% to $24.2 million and net income reached $1.3 million, reversing a $10.3 million loss in 2024. The improvement was underpinned by a 56% surge in B2B revenue to $20.3 million, recurring revenue rising to 84% of the total, and dollar-pegged earnings increasing to 33%, while operating loss narrowed by 94% to $0.5 million and net dollar retention hit 128%.
Regional momentum was strongest in the Gulf, where GCC revenue more than doubled to $8.0 million and grew to a third of group sales, while Egypt still contributed the majority with $16.2 million, up 20% year over year. Tight cost discipline cut operating expenses by 36% to $7.2 million, turning total equity positive at $2.9 million, leaving Swvl with $4.41 million in cash and a $38.2 million sales backlog entering 2026, signaling improved balance-sheet strength and greater visibility for stakeholders as the company scales its enterprise mobility business.
Spark’s Take on SWVL Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SWVL is a Neutral.
The score is driven primarily by weak financial performance (declining revenue, ongoing losses, negative operating cash flow, and balance-sheet risk). Technicals add pressure given the downtrend and negative MACD, with only limited relief from oversold readings. Valuation is not compelling due to negative earnings and no dividend yield.
