An update from Ambev SA ( (ABEV) ) is now available.

On May 15, 2026, Ambev’s board of directors met in São Paulo and approved a leadership change in its executive team, specifically within the logistics function. The meeting was duly convened under the company’s bylaws, with President Michel Dimitrios Doukeris chairing and all listed directors participating and recording their votes.

The board unanimously decided to replace current Vice-President of Logistics, Paulo André Zagman, with Fernando Maffessoni, who presently oversees logistics for the Middle Americas Zone at Anheuser-Busch InBev. Maffessoni is scheduled to assume the role on August 1, 2026, with his mandate running through December 31, 2027, subject to formal investiture and confirmation that no impediments exist to his appointment.

Ambev plans to formally consolidate the new executive lineup at another board meeting to be held by August 31, 2026, when Maffessoni’s election and Zagman’s dismissal will be officially recorded. Following that, the company will update its registrations with the São Paulo Board of Trade and other public bodies, underscoring the strategic importance of logistics leadership to Ambev’s operational backbone and governance structure.

The most recent analyst rating on (ABEV) stock is a Sell with a $2.90 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Ambev SA stock, see the ABEV Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on ABEV Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ABEV is a Outperform.

Overall score reflects strong financial quality (profitability, low leverage, and solid free cash flow) as the primary support, with a constructive technical uptrend and shareholder-friendly valuation via a high dividend yield. The main constraints are softer volume/top-line momentum and guided 2026 cost pressures, which temper the upside despite ongoing margin focus.
