An update from Aurora Cannabis ( (TSE:ACB) ) is now available.
On April 15, 2026, Aurora Cannabis announced the acquisition of Safari Flower Company, an EU GMP certified cannabis cultivator and manufacturer in Ontario, for total consideration valued at $26.5 million, partly paid in cash and shares. The deal immediately adds a 59,000-square-foot indoor facility to Aurora’s network, expanding its EU GMP capacity to supply key international medical markets including Germany, Australia, Poland and the UK.
Aurora plans to integrate Safari Flower Company’s operations to boost production of high-quality EU GMP flower, improve cultivation yields and realize operational efficiencies across its supply chain. Management expects the transaction to contribute positively to Adjusted EBITDA starting in fiscal 2027, with greater benefits in 2028 and beyond, reinforcing Aurora’s positioning in high-margin, highly regulated global medical cannabis markets and supporting its strategy to capture greater international market share.

Spark’s Take on ACB Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ACB is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by weak cash-flow quality and poor technical momentum (price below key moving averages with bearish MACD). Offsetting factors include an improving operational trajectory with strong gross margins, a relatively manageable balance sheet, and a constructive earnings outlook centered on growing higher-margin global medical cannabis.
