UBS Remains a Buy on Ameren (AEE)

UBS analyst William Appicelli maintained a Buy rating on Ameren today and set a price target of $127.00.

Appicelli covers the Utilities sector, focusing on stocks such as Vistra Corp, Consolidated Edison, and American Electric Power. According to TipRanks, Appicelli has an average return of 8.5% and a 67.12% success rate on recommended stocks.

In addition to UBS, Ameren also received a Buy from TipRanks – Google’s Google Regulated Electric in a report issued on February 14. However, on the same day, TipRanks – OpenAI downgraded Ameren (NYSE: AEE) to a Hold.

Based on Ameren’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending December 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $1.78 billion and a net profit of $252 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $1.94 billion and had a net profit of $207 million

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 69 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is negative on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders selling their shares of AEE in relation to earlier this year. Earlier this month, Rafael Flores, a Director at AEE sold 1,600.00 shares for a total of $178,432.00.
