Aecon Group Inc. ( (TSE:ARE) ) has provided an update.

Aecon Group Inc. has closed a bought deal offering of 4,395,300 common shares at $39.25 per share, including the full exercise of the over-allotment option, raising gross proceeds of approximately $172.5 million. The offering was led by a syndicate of underwriters headed by CIBC Capital Markets and TD Securities and was conducted via a final short form prospectus filed with securities regulators across Canadian provinces.

Aecon plans to use the net proceeds primarily to repay amounts drawn on its revolving credit facility, with any remaining funds allocated to general corporate purposes. Spark’s Take on ARE Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ARE is a Outperform.

The score is supported by improving fundamentals and upbeat guidance/backlog momentum from the latest earnings call, reinforced by strong technical uptrends and a low P/E. Offsetting these positives are still-thin profitability and a history of volatile earnings and cash flow, which keep the financial-performance component from scoring higher.
