Ametek Secures New Credit Facilities for Indicor Acquisition

Introducing TipRanks MCP for Agents

Ametek ( (AME) ) has provided an announcement.

On June 9, 2026, Ametek amended and restated its revolving credit facility, expanding lender commitments from $2.3 billion to $3.5 billion and extending the maturity to June 9, 2031. The facility includes customary covenants tied to leverage and interest coverage, and allows up to $1.0 billion to fund part of the previously announced Indicor Holdings acquisition, as well as refinancing, working capital and general corporate purposes.

Also on June 9, 2026, the company entered a new senior unsecured term loan agreement of up to $4.0 billion in three tranches maturing three, four and five years from draw, with pricing linked to Ametek’s credit rating or leverage. These term loans are dedicated to financing the Indicor deal, and their execution, alongside the upsized revolver, enabled Ametek to fully terminate $5.0 billion of prior bridge financing commitments, signaling a more permanent and structured funding plan for the acquisition.
