American Tower ( (AMT) ) just unveiled an update.

On May 27, 2026, American Tower Corporation completed a registered public offering of €750 million in 4.000% senior unsecured notes due 2033, generating net proceeds of about €742.7 million, or roughly $866.7 million. The notes, issued under an indenture with U.S. Bank Trust Company and U.S. Bank Europe DAC, pay annual interest in euros starting September 1, 2026, and carry standard covenant, redemption, and default protections, including change-of-control repurchase rights.

American Tower plans to use the proceeds to repay borrowings under its $6.0 billion senior unsecured multicurrency revolving credit facility, refinance €500 million of 1.950% senior notes maturing in 2026, and fund general corporate purposes, effectively extending its debt maturity profile and managing interest costs. The transaction underscores the company’s continued access to European capital markets and may strengthen its balance sheet flexibility as it pursues its communications infrastructure growth strategy.

The most recent analyst rating on (AMT) stock is a Buy with a $207.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on American Tower stock, see the AMT Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on AMT Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, AMT is a Outperform.

AMT scores well on profitability and improved outlook (raised guidance and strong data-center momentum), supported by positive technical trend and a solid dividend yield. The overall score is held back mainly by elevated leverage and near-term cash-flow/margin and churn-related headwinds (notably DISH and Latin America).
