Air New Zealand ( (ANZFF) ) has issued an announcement.

In October 2025, Air New Zealand reported a 4.4% increase in group capacity compared to the previous year, driven by significant growth in Short Haul International flights due to the addition of two new A321 aircraft. Despite a slight decline in the passenger load factor, the company’s year-to-date underlying RASK improved by 0.5%, with Long Haul RASK seeing a 1.2% increase, particularly in the Asian market. These developments indicate a strategic focus on expanding short-haul international routes and optimizing long-haul operations, which could enhance the company’s competitive positioning and operational efficiency.
