Ares Management Cuts Q1 Outlook, Affirms 2026 Guidance

Tipranks - Wed Apr 1, 7:14PM CDT

End of Quarter Sale - 50% Off TipRanks

The latest announcement is out from Ares Management ( (ARES) ).

Ares Management said it preliminarily expects realized net performance income of about $75 million for the quarter ending March 31, 2026, up from $41 million a year earlier but below its prior guidance of roughly $100 million, largely because performance income from certain European-style funds is now anticipated to be recognized in later quarters of 2026. Despite the weaker-than-expected first-quarter figure, the firm maintained its outlook for more than $350 million in realized net performance income for full-year 2026 versus $169 million in 2025, while cautioning that the estimates may differ materially from final results and should be assessed alongside its full first-quarter report when released.

The most recent analyst rating on (ARES) stock is a Hold with a $112.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Ares Management stock, see the ARES Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on ARES Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ARES is a Neutral.

The score is primarily supported by solid financial performance (strong revenue trajectory, improved leverage, and stronger recent cash generation) and a constructive earnings call emphasizing credit quality, liquidity, and dividend coverage. These positives are moderated by weak technicals (price below key moving averages with negative MACD) and a demanding valuation (high P/E despite a supportive dividend yield).
