The latest announcement is out from Atkore International Group ( (ATKR) ).

On April 28, 2026, Atkore entered into settlement agreements to resolve claims brought by two of the three putative plaintiff classes in the consolidated PVC Pipe Antitrust Litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. The deals cover the Direct Purchaser Plaintiffs and the Non-Converter Seller Purchaser Plaintiffs and remain subject to preliminary and final court approval, while claims by the End User Plaintiffs continue. Under the settlements, Atkore will pay $72.5 million to resolve all actual and potential claims by the direct purchasers and $64 million for those of the non-converter seller purchaser group, with payments to be funded from cash on hand and recorded as a non-operating expense in the quarter ended March 27, 2026. The company said the settlements, which include class recoveries, legal fees, and administration costs, are not expected to materially affect its liquidity or leverage metrics and do not constitute an admission of fault or liability. Atkore emphasized that the antitrust allegations target multiple industry participants and said resolving these matters now limits legal uncertainty and the costs and distractions of protracted litigation, though the outcome of the broader case and any potential settlement with the remaining class remains uncertain.

The most recent analyst rating on (ATKR) stock is a Hold with a $71.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Atkore International Group stock, see the ATKR Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on ATKR Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ATKR is a Neutral.

ATKR’s score is held back primarily by sharply deteriorated financial performance (revenue decline, margin compression, and a swing to TTM net losses). Technicals are somewhat supportive with price above key moving averages, but momentum signals are mixed. Valuation is a headwind due to a high P/E relative to current earnings, while the earnings call adds modest support from reaffirmed guidance, productivity gains, and expectations for a back-half recovery despite ongoing pricing and cost pressures.
