Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. Class A ( (TSE:BAM) ) has issued an update.
On April 14, 2026, Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. announced an offering of US$550 million of new senior notes due 2031 with a 4.832% coupon and a US$450 million re-opening of its 5.298% senior notes due 2036, both issued as SEC-registered, senior unsecured debt. The new 2036 tranche will merge with the US$400 million of 2036 notes issued on November 18, 2025, lifting that series to US$850 million in aggregate, with net proceeds earmarked for general corporate purposes and terms that include standard covenants, make-whole and par-call redemption features, and T+3 settlement.
The 2031 notes will be issued under a new supplemental indenture to Brookfield’s April 24, 2025 base indenture, while the 2036 notes will be fungible with the existing 2036 series under the prior fourth supplemental indenture. Joint book-running managers include RBC Capital Markets and SMBC Nikko Securities America, and the offering structure and covenants underscore Brookfield’s ongoing use of the U.S. dollar bond market to support its balance sheet flexibility and long-term financing strategy.

Spark’s Take on BAM Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, BAM is a Outperform.
The score is driven primarily by strong financial performance (high current profitability, growth, and reasonable leverage) and a positive earnings-call outlook with supportive guidance and operating momentum. These are tempered by weak technical conditions (price below key moving averages with negative MACD) and a valuation that looks expensive on P/E despite a supportive dividend yield.
