Brookfield Asset Management, together with La Caisse, has agreed to acquire all outstanding Class A common shares of renewable power producer Boralex Inc. for $37.25 per share in cash, valuing the company at about $9 billion in enterprise value. The deal, endorsed unanimously by Boralex’s board and supported by its largest shareholder, La Caisse, will take Boralex private while preserving its Québec headquarters and is intended to accelerate the company’s 2030 strategic plan, expand development in its core markets and enhance capital flexibility as it pursues growth in North America and Europe.
