Banco Bilbao ( (BBVA) ) just unveiled an update.

BBVA reported a record profit of €10.511 billion for 2025, up 4.5% year-on-year, driven by strong growth in recurring income and a 16.2% increase in customer lending in constant euros, which helped it achieve a 19.3% return on tangible equity and maintain a solid 12.7% CET1 capital ratio. The bank is rewarding shareholders with the highest cash dividend in its history – €0.92 per share, totaling about €5.249 billion and 31% higher than in 2024 – alongside a nearly €4 billion share buyback program, bringing total planned shareholder remuneration to more than €9.2 billion. Business momentum was underpinned by robust loan growth and market-share gains in Spain, Mexico and Turkey, record customer acquisition of 11.5 million new clients (two thirds via digital channels), and significant financing of households, SMEs, large corporates and social initiatives, reinforcing BBVA’s growth profile and supporting management’s confidence in outgrowing peers and further improving profitability in 2026 and beyond under its new strategic plan.

The most recent analyst rating on (BBVA) stock is a Buy with a $29.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Banco Bilbao stock, see the BBVA Stock Forecast page.
