An announcement from Brookfield Infrastructure ( (BIP) ) is now available.

Brookfield Infrastructure reported strong 2025 results, with net income attributable to the partnership jumping to $1.1 billion from $391 million a year earlier and funds from operations rising 6% to $2.6 billion, or $3.32 per unit. The performance was driven by solid organic growth at the high end of its target range, elevated inflation pass-through, higher volumes across its networks, and the commissioning of over $1.5 billion of new projects, even as more than $3 billion of asset sales muted some earnings. The partnership exceeded its $3 billion capital recycling goal and completed $1.1 billion of new acquisitions, while its data segment delivered a more than 50% FFO increase on the back of major investments and rapid expansion in data centers and fiber networks, positioning the business for further upside as it builds out a 3.6 GW global data center development pipeline and shifts more aggressively into AI-related infrastructure. Brookfield Infrastructure also declared its 17th consecutive distribution increase, underscoring confidence in its self-funding growth model and expectations for FFO to accelerate in 2026 as recent investments fully contribute, reinforcing its competitive standing in the listed infrastructure space and supporting long-term income and growth prospects for unitholders.

The most recent analyst rating on (BIP) stock is a Hold with a $45.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Brookfield Infrastructure stock, see the BIP Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on BIP Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, BIP is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by very high leverage and inconsistent free-cash-flow generation despite steady revenue growth and strong operating profitability. Technical indicators also reflect weak near-term momentum. Valuation is a further headwind due to a high P/E, partially balanced by a solid dividend yield.
