An update from Bank Of Montreal ( (TSE:BMO) ) is now available.
Bank of Montreal has issued EUR 750 million of callable floating rate senior notes due March 2029 and EUR 500 million of callable fixed-to-floating rate green senior notes due March 2032 under its US$40 billion note issuance programme. The green tranche underscores the bank’s ongoing use of sustainable financing instruments, while the overall deal further diversifies its funding base in European markets and supports long-term capital planning.
The final terms for both note series, dated March 20, 2026, have been published in conjunction with the existing programme prospectus and its supplements. By structuring these instruments under EU and post-Brexit UK prospectus regulations, Bank of Montreal continues to position itself as an active issuer in European regulatory frameworks, providing institutional investors with additional senior debt options, including a dedicated green offering.
