Brookfield Wealth Solutions ( (TSE:BNT) ) has shared an announcement.

Brookfield Wealth Solutions reported on Feb. 12, 2026 that total assets rose to $157.2 billion as of Dec. 31, 2025, with distributable operating earnings climbing to $1.7 billion for 2025 from $1.4 billion a year earlier, driven by higher net investment income, a larger asset base, and a full year of American Equity Life contributions. Net income for 2025 fell to $863 million from $1.25 billion, reflecting adverse reserve and investment movements amid rate and equity volatility, even as the company deployed $13 billion into higher-yield real asset strategies, generated $20 billion of annuity sales, advanced its Just Group acquisition and Japan reinsurance expansion, and used its strong liquidity to support a 17% increase in its quarterly distribution to $0.07 per share.

Brookfield Wealth Solutions also highlighted the close economic linkage between its class A shares and those of Brookfield Corporation, whose 2025 net income attributable to shareholders more than doubled to $1.31 billion, implying that Brookfield Corporation’s performance and share price are likely to significantly influence Brookfield Wealth Solutions’ market valuation and investor returns. The company’s stable $8 billion property and casualty float and approximately $61 billion of liquid assets underscore a conservative balance sheet posture, providing capacity to meet policyholder obligations while continuing to rotate into higher-yielding investments and integrate forthcoming growth initiatives such as the planned Just Group transaction.
