Carlyle Group (CG) Gets a Hold from Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley analyst Michael Cyprys assigned a Hold rating to Carlyle Group today and set a price target of $57.00.

In addition to Morgan Stanley, Carlyle Group also received a Hold from RBC Capital’s Bart Dziarski in a report issued on July 13. However, on the same day, BMO Capital maintained a Buy rating on Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG).

Based on Carlyle Group’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending March 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $189.6 million and a GAAP net loss of $132.2 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $807.8 million and had a net profit of $130 million
