An update from CK Hutchison Holdings ( (HK:0001) ) is now available.
CK Hutchison Holdings has disclosed that the Panamanian government has ordered the occupation of all movable property of its subsidiary Panama Ports Company, S.A., and state representatives have taken physical and operational control of the Balboa and Cristóbal terminals. The concession for these ports was deemed terminated as of 23 February 2026, forcing the subsidiary to cease all operations at both terminals on the same day.
The company says it has been advised that the Supreme Court ruling, the executive decree and the related state actions conflict with the legal framework and the original concession law governing its port operations. The board strongly disputes the Panamanian measures and intends to pursue all available national and international legal avenues to protect the group’s interests, while warning shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its securities.
The most recent analyst rating on (HK:0001) stock is a Hold with a HK$67.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on CK Hutchison Holdings stock, see the HK:0001 Stock Forecast page.
