Morgan Stanley Sticks to Its Hold Rating for Centerpoint Energy (CNP)

Morgan Stanley analyst David Arcaro maintained a Hold rating on Centerpoint Energy today and set a price target of $39.00.

According to TipRanks, Arcaro is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 14.0% and a 65.20% success rate. Arcaro covers the Utilities sector, focusing on stocks such as Vistra Corp, Pinnacle West Capital, and PG&E.

In addition to Morgan Stanley, Centerpoint Energy also received a Hold from Citi’s Ryan Levine in a report issued today. However, yesterday, TipRanks – Google reiterated a Buy rating on Centerpoint Energy (NYSE: CNP).

Based on Centerpoint Energy’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending December 31, the company reported a quarterly net profit of $264 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $2.26 billion and had a net profit of $248 million
