Cemex SAB ( (CX) ) has issued an announcement.
Cemex, S.A.B. de C.V. announced in May 2026 that it has signed a five-year, dollar-denominated, $3 billion syndicated sustainability-linked revolving credit agreement for general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing financial obligations. The facility, guaranteed by Cemex Corp., features interest margins over SOFR ranging from 85 to 137.5 basis points depending on Cemex’s credit rating, and includes covenants aligned with an investment-grade capital structure.
The 2026 Credit Agreement requires Cemex to maintain a maximum Consolidated Net Debt to Consolidated EBITDA ratio of 3.75 times and a minimum Consolidated EBITDA to interest expense ratio of 2.75 times, tested quarterly on a rolling 12‑month basis under IFRS. Cemex expects to be able to draw on the facility once certain conditions are satisfied, potentially as early as before June 30, 2026, supporting its liquidity profile and reinforcing its balance-sheet discipline amid changing economic and capital-market conditions.
