Cemex SAB ( (CX) ) has provided an update.
Cemex, S.A.B. de C.V. said that, following shareholder resolutions passed on March 26, 2026, it will distribute a previously declared cash dividend totaling $180 million in four equal U.S. dollar installments. The first $45 million installment will go to holders of Series A and B shares, CPOs and ADSs of record on June 17, 2026, with Mexican investors paid in pesos on June 18 and ADS investors around June 29, and the payout will be tax-exempt as it comes from the CUFIN balance as of December 31, 2013.
The company outlined a clear payment calendar, with subsequent $45 million installments expected on or after September 17 and December 16, 2026, and March 3, 2027. The schedule, along with defined last-trade dates and FX-based conversion for local holders, provides visibility on shareholder returns and underscores Cemex’s capacity to return cash without withholding tax, a potentially attractive feature for both domestic and international investors.
