The company's unregulated businesses include gas storage and pipelines, power & industrial projects, and energy trading operations. The Electric Utility segment consists mainly of DTE Electric Company. DTE Electric Company is a regulated electric utility operating in southeastern Michigan, including Detroit, primarily through fossil fuel-powered plants. DTE Energy Company's Gas Utility segment consists of DTE Gas and Citizens. The company's DTE Vantage segment comprise projects that deliver energy and utility services to industrial, commercial and institutional customers. DTE Energy Company's Energy Trading division engages in marketing and trading of power and gas.
