Wedbush Initiates a Hold Rating on Duolingo (DUOL)

Wedbush analyst Ygal Arounian initiated coverage with a Hold rating on Duolingo yesterday and set a price target of $139.00. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $131.22.

According to TipRanks, Arounian is a 4-star analyst with an average return of 4.4% and a 46.08% success rate. Arounian covers the Communication Services sector, focusing on stocks such as Meta Platforms, Alphabet Class A, and Pinterest.

The word on The Street in general, suggests a Hold analyst consensus rating for Duolingo with a $110.09 average price target, a -16.10% downside from current levels. In a report released on June 29, D.A. Davidson also reiterated a Hold rating on the stock with a $120.00 price target.

Based on Duolingo’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending March 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $291.97 million and a net profit of $43.46 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $230.74 million and had a net profit of $35.14 million
