(TSX: ECN) ("ECN Capital" or the "Company") announced today that it has filed and is in the process of mailing its management information circular (the "Circular") and related materials to the holders (the "Common Shareholders") of common shares of the Company (the "Common Shares"), the holders (the "Series C Preferred Shareholders") of the cumulative 5-year minimum rate reset preferred shares, Series C of the Company (the "Series C Preferred Shares") and the holders (the "Series E Preferred Shareholders" and, together with the Common Shareholders and Series C Preferred Shareholders, the "Shareholders") of the mandatory convertible preferred shares, Series E of the Company (the "Series E Preferred Shares") in connection with the special meeting (the "Meeting") of Shareholders scheduled to be held at 8:30 a.m. (Toronto time) on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
