An update from Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson ( (ERIC) ) is now available.

During May 11–15, 2026, Ericsson repurchased 1,119,106 of its own Class B shares on Nasdaq Stockholm at a weighted average price of SEK 116.99, for a total transaction value of about SEK 130.9 million. The trades were executed by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE under a previously announced buyback mandate.

These repurchases form part of Ericsson’s share buyback program of up to SEK 15 billion running from April 23, 2026, to March 31, 2027, which is conducted under EU market abuse and safe-harbour rules. Following the latest purchases, Ericsson holds 47,882,698 Class B shares in treasury, and the board plans to propose cancelling most of the repurchased stock at the 2027 AGM, a move that could enhance capital returns and support the share price for investors.

The most recent analyst rating on (ERIC) stock is a Hold with a $11.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson stock, see the ERIC Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on ERIC Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ERIC is a Outperform.

The score is driven primarily by improved profitability, strong free cash flow quality, and manageable leverage, reinforced by constructive trend signals and a modest P/E. It is held back by declining revenue in 2025/TTM, historical volatility, and near-term risks from FX pressure, elevated restructuring costs, Enterprise segment losses, and potential H2 input-cost inflation.
