An update from Ford Motor ( (F) ) is now available.
On April 15, 2026, Ford Motor Company amended four major syndicated credit facilities, extending maturities on a total of $13.5 billion in core revolving commitments from 2028 to 2029 and from 2030 to 2031, while keeping the facilities unsecured and backed by Ford guarantees of subsidiary borrowers. The company also pushed out the maturity of a $2.0 billion supplemental revolver to 2029, extended $2.5 billion in 364‑day revolving commitments to 2027, and lengthened availability under a $3.0 billion term loan to the end of 2026, with borrowings under that term loan now maturing in 2028.
Across the amended agreements, interest on U.S. Dollar borrowings will continue to reference market rates such as Daily Simple SOFR plus an applicable margin, but pricing will no longer vary based on Ford’s achievement of sustainability‑linked targets. The facilities include customary representations and covenants, among them a liquidity covenant requiring Ford to maintain at least $4 billion in domestic cash, equivalents, securities, or available capacity, helping to secure funding flexibility and remove rating‑trigger and material adverse change constraints that could otherwise limit access to credit.
The most recent analyst rating on (F) stock is a Hold with a $14.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Ford Motor stock, see the F Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on F Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, F is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weaker financial quality (high leverage and volatile profitability despite strong cash flow) and bearish technical momentum (below key moving averages with negative MACD). Partially offsetting these are a high dividend yield and earnings-call guidance that points to improving 2026 EBIT/FCF, though meaningful EV losses, restructuring charges, and back-half execution risks remain.
