The latest announcement is out from Gildan Activewear ( (TSE:GIL) ).

On February 26, 2026, Gildan Activewear reported record fourth‑quarter 2025 net sales from continuing operations of $1.08 billion, up 31.3% year over year, and record adjusted diluted EPS, driven in part by its December 1, 2025 acquisition of HanesBrands. Full‑year 2025 revenue from continuing operations reached a record $3.62 billion, supported by strong activewear performance, innovation in brands such as Comfort Colors and Champion, and solid cash generation that enabled $319 million of capital returns and a 10% dividend hike for 2026.

The company said integration of HanesBrands is ahead of plan, raised its targeted annual run‑rate cost synergies to about $250 million by 2028, and initiated 2026 guidance calling for a roughly 65%–70% jump in revenue to $6.0–$6.2 billion and 20%–25% growth in adjusted EPS. Gildan also launched a formal sale process for the HanesBrands Australian business, pledging to use proceeds to reduce debt and move back toward its leverage target, while confirming plans to expand manufacturing capacity with a second phase of its Bangladesh project to support its enlarged global basics platform.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:GIL) stock is a Buy with a C$108.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Gildan Activewear stock, see the TSE:GIL Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on TSE:GIL Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:GIL is a Outperform.

Gildan Activewear’s strong financial performance and strategic acquisition of HanesBrands are key strengths, supporting a solid outlook. However, technical indicators suggest a lack of momentum, and increased leverage poses a risk that needs monitoring. The fair valuation and positive earnings call further contribute to a favorable but cautious overall score.
