Greenlight Capital Re ( (GLRE) ) has shared an announcement.
On April 1, 2026, Greenlight Reinsurance Ireland DAC and Greenlight Reinsurance, Ltd. entered into new and amended master letter of credit agreements with CIBC Bank USA, establishing a combined committed letter of credit capacity of $300 million split initially between $50 million for GRIL and $250 million for Greenlight Re. The facilities, secured by first-priority liens on cash collateral equal to outstanding letters of credit and maturing on December 22, 2027 with automatic annual extensions, replace and roll over prior arrangements, enhancing the group’s structured collateral support and liquidity management for its reinsurance business.
The company also reported that David Sigmon, who had notified Greenlight Capital Re of his intent to resign as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary on February 2, 2026, rescinded his resignation on March 31, 2026. He will continue in his existing roles under his prior employment agreement, providing continuity in the company’s legal, compliance and corporate governance leadership.

Spark’s Take on GLRE Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, GLRE is a Outperform.
The score is driven primarily by solid financial resilience (strong balance sheet and improved cash generation) and a positive earnings call backdrop (record underwriting results, book value growth, deleveraging and buybacks). These are tempered by uncertainty from the latest period’s sharp revenue dislocation and historical volatility, with only mildly positive technical momentum and a merely reasonable valuation (P/E 13.829, no dividend yield provided).
