GameStop ( (GME) ) has provided an announcement.

For the fourth quarter ended January 31, 2026, GameStop reported net sales of $1.104 billion, down from $1.283 billion a year earlier, but improved profitability as SG&A expenses fell to $241.5 million and operating income rose to $135.2 million. Net income for the quarter dipped slightly to $127.9 million, though adjusted net income surged to $291.4 million, while cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities nearly doubled to $9.0 billion, supported in part by bitcoin and related receivables valued at $368.4 million.

For fiscal 2025, net sales declined to $3.630 billion from $3.823 billion in 2024, yet the company swung from an operating loss of $26.2 million to operating income of $232.1 million as SG&A dropped to $910.2 million. Full-year net income more than tripled to $418.4 million and adjusted net income reached $647.4 million, underscoring the impact of cost reductions and balance-sheet strength on GameStop’s financial position despite softer top-line performance.
