CEO Clips - GoldQuest Mining Corp.: Advancing a Gold-Driven Opportunity in the Dominican Republic

Exploration meets social impact in a high-grade gold-copper district

GoldQuest Mining Corp. (TSX.V: GQC) is working toward development of a high-impact gold asset in one of the Dominican Republic’s most underserved regions. While the deposit contains both copper and gold, over 70% of future revenues are expected to be derived from gold, forming the economic backbone of the company’s development strategy. With a resource of 2.2 million ounces and 1.1 million ounces in reserves, the company is now preparing for its environmental impact assessment and a bankable feasibility study.

The project’s location in San Juan—one of the poorest provinces in the country—adds a layer of social significance to the company’s plans. Infrastructure investments tied to the project aim to benefit surrounding communities through job creation and economic stimulation. With additional drilling on the horizon and an eye toward long-term production, GoldQuest is positioning itself not just as a mine developer, but as a regional economic contributor.

Key Points:

  • 2.2 million ounce resource, with 1.1 million ounces in reserves
  • Over 70% of revenues expected from gold
  • Pre-feasibility complete; feasibility and environmental studies upcoming
  • Additional exploration planned
  • Project located in an economically underserved region
