Gran Tierra Energy ( (GTE) ) has provided an announcement.

Gran Tierra reported strong 2025 operational performance with average working interest production rising 32% to 45,709 BOEPD, driven by exploration success in Ecuador and full-year contributions from Canadian operations. The company also achieved its seventh consecutive year of South American reserves growth, with over 100% PDP and 2P reserve replacement, and improved capital commitments in Colombia and Ecuador, enhancing future flexibility.

Financially, Gran Tierra delivered $313.2 million in net cash provided by operating activities, up 31% from 2024, and $283.7 million in adjusted EBITDA despite lower Brent prices, although non-cash impairments led to a net loss of $193.1 million. The firm strengthened its balance sheet and liquidity through a high-participation bond exchange, non-core asset sales, and a prepayment facility, while expanding its international footprint via a new exploration, development and production sharing agreement in Azerbaijan that adds long-term growth optionality.

At year-end 2025, Gran Tierra’s after-tax NAV reached $1.1 billion on a 2P basis with a 2P reserve life index of 15 years, underscoring the depth of its portfolio. Ongoing development in key blocks such as Suroriente, where the Raju-2 well is outperforming expectations, together with reduced future development commitments and a focus on deleveraging, positions the company for stable production, free cash flow generation and improved resilience for stakeholders heading into 2026.
